For anyone that's a fan of Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and anything medieval, this dark fantasy title is going to keep you on the edge of your seat. It combines elements of Indiana Jones, the King Arthur tales, and things that were obviously inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien. We are huge Lord of the Rings fans, and also Game of Thrones. If you like any of those things, and want more fantasy in your life, there are few games that can compete with this new release that is absolutely jaw-dropping in its presentation.

Mechanics

The game keeps things simple in terms of mechanics, giving you five different areas and 15 lines to bet on. Anytime you get a response, the size of the reels increase, and you get more pay lines, going up to 6 x 5 with 30 pay lines, starting at the original 3 x 5. This is a nice feature, making the game feel fun and fresh. We have seen many titles that do innovative things, but I've never quite seen anyone pull off what they have done here. That alongside the fantasy setting is one of the reasons it is near and dear to our hearts.

The game has many wonderful features, including a respin feature that comes up fairly often. Alongside of that you have treasure of the keep, which activate any time you get five or more of the different coins. The bonus starts off at three free spins, and any new treasure reveals a different prize. This gets locked and reset any time you play, going back down to three. Every time you get a treasure coin, you can get up to 100 times your way through. It is somewhat like getting a free multiplier token to use at your leisure. There's also towers of power, which makes two of the random reels completely filled with wilds.

Included is Jackpot chests, which are unlocked by collecting treasure coins. The highest are 25 multipliers, 50 multipliers, 250 multipliers, or 2500 multipliers. As you would expect, the bigger the multiplier, the bigger the winnings! It's wonderful, and you'll be thrilled anytime it comes up for you.

Theme

As we said earlier, the theme of this game is a dark fantasy genre, setting itself in the medieval times. If you are a fan of anything that resembles Lord of the Rings, or anything from George RR Martin, and perhaps even a little bit of Harry Potter, you'll like this tale. They have different dragon looking creatures present, castles, vast landscapes, and a whole bunch of stuff that glitters with gold. Everything is hand-painted, and we can't imagine any of it looking any better, even if they had budgeted it for a feature film.

We played this game across many devices, particularly our iPhones and iPads. As we played it, there wasn't a single time where we felt things didn't run smoothly, or look amazing. Because it is a recent release, it's one of the best looking games out there. If you are a fan of this genre, you should know that this is the best in class. We have played many of them, and they all look decent, but this one really takes the cake. Because of how rich and deep the colors are, we recommend playing it on a device with a beautiful screen. If you don't happen to have one, this game is worth getting on for! If you need an excuse to get a new iPhone or something like that. Pretty much any device is going to look great with it, however.

If you are unsure what to do about the game, we recommend trying it immediately in demo mode. Here, even if you're unsure of it, you can give it a try without anything to lose. As long as you are playing, you don't have to pay. You use imaginary points to make bets, and accordingly, the wins are equally as imaginary. Should you want to put down real money at some point, you can easily do so with your provider of choice. Of all the different games to put money down on, we think this game is one that most people will enjoy!
